autolink milestones (and other GFM-references) in commit messages
Release notes
Problem to solve
When I use some of the special-gitlab-references in commit messages, not all of them are autolinked. E.g. when I publish a commit message
"%8.1 My message"
I would expect that the %2
text should be autoliked to milestone ID 2 when I push this commit.
Currently it yust shows this as text when you go to files view, of display details of this commit.

Proposal
Parse special-gitlab-references in commit messages the same way, like text in comments of issues.
Documentation
Information about special-gitlab-references is already part of the existing documentation.
Availability & Testing
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
Success would when you can write a commit-message
#123 This should be linked to issue id 123 (this already works)
!123 This should be linked to mr id 123
%123 This should be linked to milestone id 123
%v1.23 This should be linked to milestone with name v1.23
And the references in that message should be displayed as links like explained in special-gitlab-references
