Moving issue around in Board lists is way too fast

What is the GitLab engineering productivity problem to solve?

Moving issues around in Board list is way too fast. We use list sequence as a prioritized backlog to work on. I keep scrolling over up and down to find the right place to insert the issue in. This is quite frustrating.
