In a large enterprise environment, some projects and groups must be managed as an internal or private access and users who are interesting to access those groups or projects should ask to access.
It is great that GitLab provides a feature of the request access. However, from the group or project owners doesn't know why those users requested an access. It would be great if there is a field that users can input the reason of their request.
Proposal
Adding an optional field that users can input a reason of their request.
