Improve discoverability of open source projects
Problem to solve
Currently on GitLab.com we have an Explore tab, but it is pretty bland. We don't help the user discover new projects of interest to them. We only have trending and most stars.

Proposal
Improve our explore projects tab. Make a smart dashboard that changes content based on projects users are a member of, as well as their activity.
Include:
- Projects based on user interest
- Trending repos
- Trending topics
- Related resources
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
Success means that users are able to visit the explore tab and find new projects of interest to them. They are able to get inspiration, and contribute to other open source projects. The community of GitLab is strengthened and improved.
