You do not return to your original location after authenticating

Summary

You need to be logged into gitlab.com to star a repository. It tells you this when you hover over the button.

If you click the star button without being logged in it will redirect you to the login page. After successfully logging you in it redirects you to your personalized home page.

It would be a better user experience if it redirected you to the place that triggered the authentication request (in this case the project you were about to star). Returning to the original location would be a good place to return to whenever you authenticate.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Don't be logged into gitlab
  2. Visit a project page (e.g. https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/examples/npm-install)
  3. Hover over the star button - it should say "You must sign in to star a project"
  4. Click the star button - you should be redirected to the login page.
  5. Authenticate successfully

What is the current bug behavior?

After step 5 you will be redirected to your personalized home page (https://gitlab.com/)

What is the expected correct behavior?

After step 5 you will be redirected to your original location whence you triggered the authentication.
