the feature of triggering and viewing a downstream pipeline already exist, though only in EE.
We're triggering multiple pipelines inside one project and its easy to mix different downstream pipelines without linking it on a pipeline page
Proposal
Add downstream pipeline trigger and view for single project for CE.
Basically the same as for cross-project in EE with restriction to only one project https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/16556 https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ee/issues/2121
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
it should be possible to trigger any number of pipelines inside one project and view its downstream pipelines on pipeline page etc
