Jira DVCS connection has wrong oauth scope

When connecting Jira via DVCS following the setup documentation it shows an error saying:

The requested scope is invalid, unknown, or malformed.

The requested scope is repo but should be api.

Connecting with GitLab via DVCS is not officially supported by Jira. We use the GitHub enterprise link to connect. Maybe the scopes in GitHub enterprise had changed recently.
