Sidebar submenus not accessible using keyboard

While performing an updated VPAT, we discovered that the sidebar submenus are not accessible.

Notes on the problem and possible solutions:

To go to a submenu item right now you first have to go to its parent page (e.g. go to Ci/CD first then Jobs page), so maybe a feature proposal on being able to tab through the whole menu including submenu items and to have submenus available to mouse and touchscreen users as well regardless of resolution?
