Add Tooltip to "Update Issues" button when greyed out

Today I tried to use the Edit Issues button:

When I clicked it the sidebar opened up:

I did not notice that the issues list now had checkboxes. I imagined in my head that I was somehow supposed to use this sidebar to make my selections?

It could be helpful if under the "Update All" button there was helper text "select issues to edit" or a tooltip to that effect?

Maybe I'm dense, but I spent a good 5 min trying to figure it out before I saw the picture in the docs where the box was checked:
