Currently there is no mechanism to have pages listed as first class elements at center of page (e.g. as a table of contents like Confluence allows).

It will be preferable to be able to land directly on our list of markdown pages (effectively our table of contents), and have control over how those are sorted such as:

  • How many items are displayed at once
  • A filter of contents (e.g. if wiki has sub-directories for /general-docs, /journals, etc, be able to have a page that only shows contents under /journals)

Proposal

Gollum has a range of macros for generating navigation and table of contents.

Add support for <<GlobalTOC()>>, <<AllPages()>> and <<Navigation()>> macros
