500 Internal Server Error when creating Project Access Token

Summary

When a user creates a project access token the error 500 Whoops, something went wrong on our end appears and no token is created.

Steps to reproduce

In a project: Settings->Access Tokens->Create project access token. The error appears also als maintainer or owner. But if a Administrator creates an Token it works.
