Description

• Extend the functionality of https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/integrations/jira.html#jira-issue-closing-example and https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ee/issues/2435 to branches.
• This allows you to transition JIRA issues from one state to another, while you are still working on a feature branch, for example. So you could go from In Dev -> In QA, while still remaining in the same branch.

Original Description

The transition only works when i make a mergerequest to the master branch. In our context we need to transit the issue to resolved when we merge to the develop branch, but that seems not to work?

The merge to the develop branch happens from feature branches.

Proposal

Is it possible to include transiting of jira issues when you merge to another branch then the default master?
