Setting up Atlassian integrations as part of new project flow

Problem to solve

For customers heavily leveraging our Atlassian integrations, it'd be a great quality of life improvement if new projects could be set up with these integrations by default. This may be potentially obviated by the mass integrations work being done, but this issue is being opened to track/discuss the requirements and other rationale.

When setting up a new project, it'd be ideal to be able to have pre-set:

  • Jira integration
  • Confluence integration
  • more??

Questions to answer

  • What other integrations would customers find useful? How can we find this out based on existing usage data that we have?
  • What's the best way to integrate this with our current tooling? Is this well-served by mass integrations, or should it be part of the creation flow of a new project?
  • How do we make this discoverable for users? When users regularly create projects and regularly integrate those with Atlassian products, how do we guide them to a better state?
