WEB IDE tells me to create new branch after committing and making additional modifications to a file
Summary
Working on .gitlab-ci.yml files using the WEB IDE I make modifications and click on the left side on commit, then stage & commit and wait for the pipeline to finish. Afterwards I make additional changes to this file try to do the same but are greated with a message saying that the branch has changed since last commit file I'm editing on and if I want to create a new branch.
Well sure the branch changed but that change was made within the WEB IDE. Would be really nice to be able to continue working even when doing commits in between - especially when buildling / fixing pipeline scripts.
Steps to reproduce
- Edit .gitlab-ci-yml file in a project
- Click on commit
- Click on stage & commit
- Make more edits
- Click on commit
- Click on stage & commit
What is the current bug behavior?
YOu get an annoying popup with info that you cannot commit on the branch again
What is the expected correct behavior?
Just perform the commit.
