Create Merge Request dropdown can't reopen after typing invalid source branch
Summary
When creating a Merge Request from an Issue, if you type an invalid branch name (for example, the beginning of a branch name) and click outside of the dropdown, it closes and cannot be reopened.
Steps to reproduce
- View an Issue, click the dropdown arrow next to
Create merge request - Type the name of an invalid branch in
Source (branch or tag) - Click outside of the dropdown
- You can no longer re-open the dropdown
What is the current bug behavior?
The dropdown cannot be reopened to complete the task.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Gray out the Create merge request button, but leave the dropdown arrow side enabled
