Ability to make the default of dashboard/merge_request to what the current user authored

Problem to solve

Currently, dashboard/merge_requests' default view is the MR that the logged in user is assigned to. It would be good if it is also possible to set it to which the logged in user authored.

Further details

If you are a developer in a team whereas you do not have the privilege or you do not have the role to review merge requests, you will only usually view the merge requests you authored-- most especially if you are using a GitLab account exclusively for work. Thus, this option would make it quicker for you to look at those merge requests. There are alternatives like add it in To-do and set that as your default dashboard view in profile preferences but that is commonly used anywhere else and it would be cluttered as well. Something like merge request has to be easily seen most especially if your role is limited.

Proposal

Add an option to set the default view of the merge requests to what the user authored. It can be added to Profile Preferences.

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

New option to set the default view of the merge requests to what the logged in user authored.
