Pasting a gif from clipboard makes the gif static image

If you copy a gif to your clipboard and paste it into the comment textaea, we will upload the gif and then add the markdown into the textarea. But then if you Preview the gif, it's actually a static image. It doesn't play.

However, if you drag and drop it works as expected. See the gif below.
