Summary

Grafana charts have an option to hide charts that have null or zero values. This is especially useful in cases where query with multiple series always has a series that returns either zero or null values. This is an effective way to reduce noise in the legend.

Grafana delivers these as two options and neither of them is selected by default (docs: https://grafana.com/docs/grafana/latest/panels/visualizations/graph-panel/#hide-series)
