Make stuck jobs errors notifiable by email to the administrator. The more options to receive debug messages by email in gitlab.rb the better. Had a case today where a job got stuck for 1 hour and nothing was sent to me even though settings specify to notify me on everything.

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

A better accountability by and for administrators. Right AFAIK nothing gets logged if a job gets stuck.
