Follow up: Remove the translation scope from 'Learn More' buttons to share translations
Problem to solve
The "Learn more" button exists all over the GitLab UI. We strive to keep the style and text consistent so we should reuse code & content whenever possible. Currently that is not the case as illustrated in the feedback here !35891 (comment 373447856)
Proposal
Since the term "Learn more" is shared across many buttons we should remove the translation scope. This way we can reuse the Learn more
translation for all applicable cases.
Examples:
- app/assets/javascripts/reports/accessibility_report/components/accessibility_issue_body.vue (line 58)
-
s__('AccessibilityReport|Learn More')
-->__('Learn more')
-
- app/assets/javascripts/security_dashboard/components/first_class_project_security_dashboard.vue (line 100)
-
s__('SecurityReports|Learn more')
-->__('Learn more')
-
- a full search of "Learn More" buttons should be performed to ensure all instances are updated.
