Make Deployments a top level navigation element

Problem to solve

With our progressive delivery functionality becoming more and more mature we notice a few patterns:

  • Feature Flags and future experiments such as A/B testing require a dedicated place to discuss intent, lifespan, and results (research insight will be added later)
  • The amount of people involved in the delivery of a feature is expanding beyond just engineering.
  • Delivery is the most critical part of feature development as it will make the feature user facing/noticeable on production.
  • A/B testing is seen as separate from FF (research insight will be added later)

Currently, we are looking for a place to put our experiments aside from feature flags. It will probably not make sense to have it hidden inside of one of the only-engineering focused menus.

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

What is the type of buyer?

Is this a cross-stage feature?
