  @MikeyMJCO Thanks so much for this. Your contribution is great. However, I'm also realizing that what we're doing, in part, is replicating a Microsoft procedure, shown here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/quickstart-register-app

  Of course, to facilitate interfaces with GitLab, we need to specify certain things. So my plan is to accept and merge this, with a follow up with a different MR.

  Does this make sense to you? If you have something else in mind, I'm "all ears" :)
