Review NFS recommendation for Gitaly on Reference Architecture page
I was looking at how we currently present Gitaly/NFS on our reference architecture, and have a few questions:
- The only place I could find that we recommend running gitaly with directly attached disks is in footnote 9: https://docs.gitlab.com/ce/administration/reference_architectures/index.html#footnotes. If we are really saying this is deprecated, shouldn't this be promoted more clearly in the doc?
- We say we recommend 2 gitaly nodes as an absolute minimum, even for the smaller architectures. Why? Isn't this getting into the "I need multi-node for HA" problem we are trying to get away from?
