Design: Add alerts to the "Add panel" workflow

Problem

Often time when users define a new metric they would like to add an alert, we should support this workflow. This way we can both save time for the customer and promote our alerting capabilities.

WIP Proposal

Include an "Alerts" tab in the "Add panel" page settings area.

Next Steps

• Proposal needs to be updated with refined mockups after solution validation is completed
• This may require a technical spike to figure out how to add alerts to a metric that hasn't been created yet
