  @ifrenkel @fcatteau Thanks for taking care of this! I have a few follow-up questions here that I couldn't find answers to above. Would you mind responding to them?

  1. I'm a bit mixed on the interpretation of this as a ~bug or regression, isn't this a stop-gap until #209747 (closed) is fixed? Since that issue is a ~bug itself, was this actually needed?
  2. Assuming it is necessary, shouldn't we apply these same behaviors to all templates, not just ~"Category:Dependency Scanning"?
