CSV file sent to incorrect email address when exporting issues
Summary
When trying to export Issues out of an account, the CSV file is sent to a non-existent email address
Steps to reproduce
Go to Issues -> Click on the "Export" function.
What is the current bug behavior?
When trying to export Issues out of an account, the CSV file is sent to an internal and incorrect email address of the following format:
<User ID-username>@users.noreply.gitlab.com
.
This address does not seem to be mapped to the linked/primary email of the account of the user and hence the outgoing email with the CSV goes into a blackhole.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Should pick the Primary email address from user profile and email the CSV to that email address OR allow the user to enter an address
Details
This seemed to occur where verifying a new primary email post-account creation doesn't replace the notification field with the new email address replacing the internal/private generated email address after setting the 'username'
Workaround
- Add a new email and set to primary and Commit emails temporarily to get set the
Default notification email
on the existing email. - Change the primary and commit emails back to the original and remove the email added in step 1.
