Background

There is a proposal to make Kubernetes' Prow able to support more git providers, like GitLab, instead of just GitHub. Find the proposal here.

In order to get this moving forward, we would need to work with them on this so need GitLab engineering support.

Kubernetes is one of the largest open source communities in the world. The more we can integrate with them the better.
