Pipeline stage icons remain in running status, even if the pipeline failed or was aborted

Summary

If a job in a pipeline fails, the pipeline is terminated and the pipeline status is also displayed as failed.

But the stage icons, however, show something else, namely a running state

Steps to reproduce

I'm afraid I can't reproduce that on all the pipelines myself.

Example Project

none

What is the current bug behavior?

If a Pipeline fails, the stages status shows running, even if no job of the stage was executed

What is the expected correct behavior?

(What you should see instead) I think an skipped icon should be displayed.
