In Integration option can i triggered jenkins job automatically on merge request from Jenkins CI option , instead of to use webhook

i have one repository in git lab and jenkins job which pointing same gitlab URL, Now want to configure the automatics build triggered once any code push or merge , and i want to trigger jenkins job automatically from Gitlab integration option Jenkins CI instead of webhook , is there any way to use only jenkins CI for automatic build triggered

Please help , here we configure same but automatica build is not triggering after any merge request
