Status drop-down in the alert detail view - working implementation 2/2

Problem to solve

Status is an important attribute of alerts because communicates which alerts need to be investigated. Standard alert statuses include triggered, acknowledged, and resolved. Triggered alerts indicate that no one has begun investigation. Acknowledged alerts indicate that someone is actively investigating the problem. Resolved alerts indicate no further work is required. This field must be easily modified and visually apparent.

Further details

This work supports the direction of the Alert Management product category.

Proposal

Add a drop-down for the status field to the alert detail view with the following values: Triggered, Acknowledged, Resolved.

Button placement: Screen_Shot_2020-04-08_at_1.27.34_PM

Note - when the status is updated, the updated status should be reflected on the list page. But, reflecting the updated status back in the original tool is out of scope for this issue, as is adding the ignored status.
