personal worklog tracking
Problem to solve
As a Project manager who manage a team which got paid hourly by customer, I want a feature which help me report to customer "who
did spent how much
time on what issues
in from-date
- to-date
".
Currently, Gitlab only has feature to tracking total-time-spent-on-issue
so I must use jira to manage task/bug because it has this feature (export timesheet/worklog by person)
Intended users
PM who need to make "worklog report"
PM who want to calculate estimated effort assigned on each member

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
Gitlab should has a sub-page in Analytics
like "Project worklog" where it show
issue-id | issue-title | user-id | worklog | spent-date |
---|---|---|---|---|
99 | Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet | user01 | 8h | 2020-04-14 |
95 | Excepteur sint occaecat | user02 | 3h | 2020-04-14 |
And Gitlab should as a sub-page in Group/Analytics
like "group worklog" where it show:
project-id | issue-id | issue-title | user-id | worklog | spent-date |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
11 | 99 | Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet | user01 | 8h | 2020-04-14 |
11 | 95 | Excepteur sint occaecat | user02 | 3h | 2020-04-14 |
13 | 9 | laboris nisi ut aliquip | user02 | 3h | 2020-04-14 |
14 | 1 | incididunt ut labore et | user02 | 3h | 2020-04-14 |
