Webhook for force push is not working as intended

We are using Gitlab CI for our CI pipelines and integrated it with Github. However we noticed that since 1-2 weeks ago the webhook doesn't work anymore for force push to a branch. Creating new commit however will trigger the Gitlab CI as usual, but git push force won't. This issue only starts happening after our repo sync stopped working since we were on Gitlab's free plan. We have upgraded our plans but now we are facing this issue.

Quite troublesome for use since we can't rebase since it will require force push. So had to create new branch each time we need to force push. Really unproductive because of this issue.
