Render emojis on GitLab Status Pages
Problem to solve
Emojis are frequently combined with or used alone to communicate information between parties. GitLab issues support emojis in the title and all markdown fields. GitLab issues can be published to a public URL and used as a status page for response teams to communicate with stakeholders during an IT outage. The status page needs to render emojis that are used in issue titles, descriptions, and comments.
