Unable to merge remote branch to master without deleting source branch

1. Trying to merge my remote branch with master. I do not want the source branch (remote branch) deleted
2. I Uncheck “Delete Source Branch” box. I click “Merge when Pipeline succeeds”
3. I get a message that says my source branch will be deleted. I do not want this, so I cancel the merge.
