Pipeline table in MR page doesn't always fit

In the Merge request page, with both navigation bar and sidebar open, the pipeline table doesn't fit. (https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/41806#note_55664183)

We've improved it a bit, but every now and then it becomes unusable.

Technical "limitation":

The same code is running in 3 places - pipelines page, merge request page, commits page. It would be cool if we could keep reusing it and not adding too much complexity to it (ie, move content from one column to other only in some views)
