Show historical pods in Logs
Right now in the pod logs interface we fill the available pods by querying the currently running pods in an environment. This is because the kubernetes API doesn't allow for historical queries.
However when Elastic Stack is enabled on a cluster, we want to be able to see logs for pods that have since terminated.
Display the pod status filter in filtered search.
- We will present the terminated pods order by termination date descending order (so the latest pods are at the top), because most likely users would like to see the last pods which were terminated.
- We should allow the user to narrow down the search by typing in the search bar. This is dependent on this issue.
|Pod status in filtered search||Pod status types|
We should further explore the topic of interdependent filters in a follow-up issue.
