Problem to solve

It seems that the user-centric dashboard pages https://gitlab.com/dashboard/issues?assignee_username=username-here and https://gitlab.com/dashboard/merge_requests?assignee_username=username-here pages don't have documentation.

Proposal: Add a page similar to https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/todos.html that details the feature.

Further details

Background: I was asked whether this feature exists by someone considering moving to GitLab from a competitor. They were unable to find information about this feature in our current documentation.

It would be useful for current users of the product to know that this feature exists and how to access it. For users considering GitLab as a product, it would be useful to know version and which license level is required (if any).

It's possible that documentation exists for this already, but I was unable to find it through the navigation or search (internal or external).

Proposal

This documentation should live under https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/.

Who can address the issue

No special expertise, just knowledge about which version these features were introduced in and which license level is required.
