The "Migrating from SVN to GitLab" page is dangerously misleading

This page has important defects, beginning with the fact that it "welcome(s) all contributions" but provides no clue as to how to submit contributions.
Recommending the Ruby svn2git tool for cutover conversions is a bad idea. The problem is that it's built around git-svn, which has is easily confused by common metadata malformations produced by cvs2svn and tends to get branch-root locations wrong.
In addition, svn2git is nearly unmaintained - no activity in three years. IO have written its maintainer requesting that he withdraw it. It is in no way his fault that git-svn is broken, but that breakage makes svn2git an attractive nuisanvce.
You should recommend this instead:
