Award emojis are not clickable if next to fly-out menu

The new sidebar fly-out menu invisibly covers the award emojis buttons making them unclickable.
Steps to reproduce
- go to any merge request or issue page
- scroll down such that award emoji is slightly above fly-out menu
- hover sidebar to open fly-out menu
- click award emoji
What is the current bug behavior?
Fly-out menu is clicked instead of award emoji.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Award emoji is clicked.
