Replace Jed

We are using Jed for translations in JavaScript. The library is no longer actively developed, has a questionable way to include dependencies (underscore, sprintf.js) and provides an outdated version of sprintf.js (with several bugs) that is modified and not internally used.

We should consider replacing it with a different JavaScript library for providing i18n helpers.
