Show a badge for "staff" users
On GitHub staff members have a badge on their profile as seen on https://github.com/tenderlove. While this isn't terribly useful for self hosted instances it can be quite useful for GitLab.com. Having something like this (and also showing it next to a username in comments) would make it clear who's a GitLab staff member and who isn't. This isn't super important but could help prevent users from thinking user X is a GitLab employee when they aren't.
Proposal
Similar as with the Performance bar, we could have an admin setting that specifies "staff" group. All members (Developer or higher) will get the staff badge.
Open questions
- Do we need a separate setting, or can we piggyback on the Performance bar setting?
- Is this workable for GitLab Inc, as Core team members also have Developer rights to
gitlab-org
?
