Commenting code in merge requests consumes too much CPU resources
Hi everyone, I hope this is the right place to post this issue.
I often do project reviews, and I comment code. The browser becomes increasingly laggy after starting. Monitoring the CPU I was amazed to find out that navigating on GitLab and commenting code in merge requests consumes massive CPU resources. I've done the monitoring using Chrome and Chromium, but the values are still roughly the same for both.
I have a dual-core i5 2.3GHz+ CPU, 8GB RAM and an SSD on. It feels really weird to experience lag for just commenting code.
Any idea if this is a GitLab issue or something's off with my settings? Do I need to deactivate something? How can I improve my experience while commenting code?
Thanks in advance!
