Add options for how to dismiss todos
Everyone can contribute. Help move this issue forward while earning points, leveling up and collecting rewards.
Description
I often find myself missing some things because of the way todos work. I'd like to be able to keep all issues assigned to me in the "To Do" list until they're closed, but currently as soon as you interact with an issue in any way, the todo gets marked as done. I know I could just click "Add todo" to add it back to my list, but I find that to be cumbersome and I often forget to do so.
Proposal
Add a small set of preferences for todos like so:
Mark a todo as complet when:
-
You click "mark done" (unchangable) -
You leave a comment -
You make an edit -
You mention the relevant item in a commit message -
You close or delete the relevant item

If you find yourself missing important items because they where prematurely removed from your todo list, consider adjusting when todos get marked as complete in your preferences, under Settings > Preferences > Behavior.
