Add SSO support for Atlassian Crowd Integration

Description
GitLab already offers the option to include the Atlassian Crowd into the app. But I am not able to use the SSO feature built in. I already implemented it in my own page and connected Crowd, JIRA and my backend with the sso cookie. This is super useful for the daily workflow. Just one sign-in and you are up to all apps in your workflow. The only one that I am stuck at now is the GitLab server.
Proposal
I would have use for this kind of feature and I think everyone who integrates GitLab with the Atlassian Crowd can have use of this feature too.
