Not include comments from commits merged in to a branch via merge commit
Last week one of my coworkers discovered that old merge requests were moving to the top of the “last updated” list. Looking into one of these merge requests, we discovered that someone mentioned that merge request in a commit message. It’s a little bit hard to understand why a comment to a closed merge request on a different branch is updating the last update time. The second thing we discovered is that merging a branch with comments (for example master) into a merge request branch duplicates the links pointing to the new merge request.
