Display short links for branches / builds / pipelines / etc

Description

One of our users had mentioned something where he was trying to custom format URLs to make them appear nicer for branches / builds / pipelines / etc and that he tried doing this via manual Markdown formatting.

I had mentioned typcically this is automatically done via GitLab if you just copy/paste the entire URL, however, while this appears to be true for links to:

• Issues
• Merge Requests
• Comments
• Commits

It does not appear to function for:

• Branches
• Builds
• Pipelines

Format links for Branches, Builds, and Pipelines into short links as well.
