Merge requests > Checking out a branch from a fork

When you use the Check out branch button on an MR that was from a fork, a new branch will be created. When you push back, a new MR is automatically created because the checked out branch is a new branch. This can be unclear to new git users.

To make this more clear, we can update the copy for the button Check out branch to Clone branch

We can also update the copy of the modal:

Current: Screen_Shot_2016-11-15_at_9.04.05_PM

Proposed: Screen_Shot_2016-11-15_at_9.03.55_PM

cc @DouweM for technical review - does this make sense? any copy/other suggestions?
