CI returns exits with status 1 while/after checking out

Summary

Trying to set up a CI for an iOS project renders an error which leaves me in the dark.

Steps to reproduce

After:

• Followed the setup guide
• installed the bleeding edge version of the gitlab runner
• Trigger a build

Expected behavior

Some information that helps me debug what went wrong

Actual behaviour

Running with gitlab-ci-multi-runner 1.6.0~beta.166.gc8af507 (c8af507)
