Overview of Issue Boards Across ALL projects

Everyone can contribute. Help move this issue forward while earning points, leveling up and collecting rewards.

Hi,

It would be really nice to be able to have an overview of issues/boards across ALL projects.

We have project managers who assign work on a daily/weekly basis to development team and need to see which developers are free.

Ideally there would be a permission level that could be added to a user - "Project Manager"/"Issue Manager" this would then give an ability to see and change issues across ALL projects.

Is there anything like this that is being considered for development?

Currently we use a 3rd party kanban style board to offer this functionality - but it is outside of Gitlab and has zero integrations.

We did investigate other kanban tools

  1. kanban.leanlabs.io - has the same problem for us that an overall view is not given, have to drill down to a project to see who is assigned to what
  2. kanboard - clunky to integrate with gitlab
