Too narrow branch select dialog

"Switch branch/tag" drop-down menu (.dropdown-menu-selectable) is too narrow which makes it difficult to select a branch with long name.
Absence of hover tooltips on branches is not helping either...

Since there is a lot of space to the right I think it should be safe to increase width of branch selection drop-down to somewhat 200%.

Alternatively (better) it would be great to make width of branch selection menu dynamic/fluid (up to 50% of page width).
